This document is the compilation of ordinances in effect in the City of Freeman through November of 2020. Links within this document will take you to the specific sections. While the original document went into effect on January 16, 1990, individual ordinances have since been updated via council action & are dated as such.
These are additional zoning ordinances adopted in August of 1999, and amended January of 2017. This document also includes the 2020 updated version of our zoning map.
Appendix B: Designated Mailbox Sites
In addition to the option to rent a post office box at the Freeman Post Office, City Ordinance 6.0610 allows for limited placement of mailboxes within the City of Freeman, as designated by this map. Contact the Freeman Post Office at 605.925.7386 during business hours to make arrangements for a mailbox.
