Tabitha Schoenwald to Serve as City Council Member

Tabitha Schoenwald will be sworn in as Ward III's representative to the Freeman City Council at next week's council meeting. Schoenwald was appointed by Mayor Michael Walter & approved by a unanimous vote of the council this evening. She'll be sworn in at the start of the next council meeting slated to take place on Tuesday, August 3 at 6:30 PM.

Shoenwald's appointment fills the seat vacated by Doug Uecker who resigned his position earlier this month to assume the role of City Finance Officer. Other members of the council are Terry Jacobsen who also represents Ward III; Blaine Saarie & Charly Waltner, representing Ward II; & Charlie Gering & Lonnie Tjaden from Ward I.
