Freeman Business Owners Invited to Apply for Grant Funding

Application packets for Freeman Facelift Grants continue to be available at City Hall. The Freeman Growth Foundation has set aside $60,000 of funding to be used by existing Freeman business owners for the purpose of making exterior upgrades to their business. New signage, landscaping, murals, exterior lighting, paint, & other architectural replacements & repairs are among the eligible projects. Applicants are eligible to receive up to $10,000 in funding to provide 50% of the costs of their project.

Freeman Facelift Grant funding awards are overseen by a 5-person team consisting of representatives from the Freeman Growth Foundation, the City of Freeman, the Freeman Community Development Corporation, and community members at-large. Awards will be made on a first-come, first-served basis as funds remain available, with funds already committed for two local applicants.
