Swimming Pool to Open June 1

The Freeman City Swimming Pool is set to open on Thursday, June 1 at 1 PM. Kate Miller and Erin Uecker will serve as managers of the pool and concessions for the 2023 season. Watch the City of Freeman’s Facebook page for soon-to-come information regarding an open house, as well as any real-time changes impacting the pool throughout the season in response to weather conditions.

Lifeguards have also been hired, with two different sessions of swimming lessons scheduled to take place from June 19-30 and from July 10-21. Lesson times for the different levels are as follows:

Level 1: 11-11:45 AM

Level 2: 10:15-11 AM

Level 3: 9:30-10:15 AM

Level 4: 8:45-9:30 AM

Levels 5 & 6: 8:00-8:45 AM
