Reconstruction Project Begins Today

Freeman's Main Street reconstruction project gets underway TODAY with the closing of Railway from Juniper to Main. Upgrades to storm sewer & sanitary sewer are being launched from this intersection, making this portion of Railway, as well as the intersection, inaccessible for an indefinite period of time.

Beginning first thing Monday morning, May 2, Main Street itself from Railway to Fifth Street will be closed to traffic. Please know that ALL of our Main Street & adjacent businesses WILL BE OPEN AS USUAL & 5-foot widths of sidewalk will also remain in place. Sidewalk access to businesses will be maintained throughout the duration of the project, with the exception of 1-2 days when reconstruction is taking place directly in front of a specific business.

Patrons are asked to utilize side streets & available alley spaces during the time that Main Street is under construction. Kindly refrain from parking on privately owned property in the business district
