Fall Hours at Rubble Site

Beginning on Saturday, October 2, the Freeman Rubble Site west of town will return to its fall & winter schedule. Hours are from noon to 4 PM every Wednesday & Thursday through the end of April. As you engage in fall yard clean-up, keep in mind that the Compost, Tree, & Branch Area at the rubble site is open 24/7 at no charge. The compost area is for grass clippings, leaves, & garden waste. Trees & branches less than 6 inches in diameter should be placed in the branch area; thicker branches are to be deposited in the tree area.
