End-of-Season Swimming Pool Plans

Plan to bring your pooch to the pool on Sunday afternoon, August 22! The Freeman Swimming Pool will celebrate the last swim session of the 2021 season with a “Pool Party for Pooches” on Sunday, August 22, from 2-4 PM. Pets must have a current tag or license or proof of rabies vaccination. Admission is just $3 per pooch/human combo.

The pool will observe regular hours of 1-5:30 PM & 6:30-8:30 PM, Monday through Saturday, August 9-14, with adult water aerobics held from 5:30-6:30 PM, Monday through Thursday, weather permitting.

In conjunction with the Freeman Volunteer Fire Department’s Firehouse Rib Cook-Off on Saturday, August 14, swimming at the pool will be available FREE of charge for both the afternoon and evening session.

Due to college and K-12 school schedules, as well as involvements with the Turner County Fair, the Freeman Swimming Pool will be closed Monday through Friday, August 16-20. Hours on Saturday, August 21, will be from 1-6 PM in advance of the “Pool Party for Pooches” on August 22.

Additional information about the Freeman Swimming Pool, including rates, can be found in the “Community” section of this website.
