Council vacancies

The City of Freeman has the following seats open due to expiring terms: Clifford Tjaden in Ward 1, Blaine Saarie in Ward II and Elizabeth Waltner in Ward III. Each of these seats are for a 2-year term.

Those interested in circulating a petition to run for office may do so beginning on Friday, January 31. The deadline for presenting signed petitions to the finance officer at City Hall is 5 p.m. on Friday, February 28.
